Migratory swans resting in Sorkhroud Wetland + photos

Every year, when winter touches the world with its cold hands, some species of migratory swans head to the Sorkhroud Wetland in Iran.

The wetland is one of the most amazing natural attractions in the Iranian province of Mazandaran. It has been hosting the swans since 2008.

The population of the swans in the wetland started with 500 and continued to rise up to now.

Every year, the population of these precious birds varies between five thousands to ten thousands, which make a scene for the viewers to catch.

Activists and enthusiasts help providing these birds with the food they need, so their migration be easy and steady.
